Frequently Asked Questions
Do they still make Parker bows?
No, Parker Bows went out of business at the end of 2018. We know that a lot of archers still enjoy using their Parker gear, so we’ll keep making replacement bow strings and cables available.
When should I replace my Parker bow string?
Bow strings should be replaced at least every two years. They may need to be replaced sooner if the string is excessively worn from frequent shooting.
When performing a bow string inspection, look and feel for dryness, brittleness, and heavy fuzzing, as well as strands that are breaking, stretching, separating, or fraying.

Can I restring my Parker bow myself?
It’s possible to replace Parker compound bow strings on your own, but the process can be difficult and potentially dangerous without the proper archery tools and a bow press. When in doubt, it’s best to get Parker bow strings installed by a professional.
