What if I don’t know the length of my bow string?
There should be a sticker on the limb of the bow that shows the specs. If there’s no limb sticker, check the user manual. If both of those options aren’t available, search for the bow’s specs online. If you’re still not able to find the length of your bow string, please provide as many details about your bow as possible when placing your order, or give us a call.
What will happen if a fluorescent or lighter serving is put on top of dark string material?
Placing a fluorescent or light-colored serving on top of a darker bow string may cause the dark color to bleed into the serving. This can distort the serving’s original color, and in some cases, cause it to look semi-translucent.
Will my center serving match my end servings?
We’ll do the best we can to match your servings, but the BCY Powergrip material is only available in certain colors: black, white, tan, red, blue, and fluorescent orange, pink, and green. We’ll use black as the default if your preferred color isn’t available.
How do I maintain my bow strings?
Taking care of your bow string properly will extend its lifespan and keep it performing optimally. Wax it regularly to protect the string’s fibers from moisture and abrasions. Visually inspect the string for fiber separation, fraying, and other signs of wear. Physically inspect the bow string for abnormalities, such as squashed or flat sections.
