How do I set up the Last Chance Archery crossbow press?
LCA makes the setup process easy for you. The handle is pre-installed so all you need to do is mount it to your bench and install the fingers.
The press comes with four lag bolts and four washers. Simply use a drill or screwdriver to fasten the press to a convenient location on your bench. After mounting, slide the four fingers onto their pins (two on each side of the press). You’re ready to start pressing!
How do I press a crossbow with the EZ Green crossbow press?
- Place your crossbow’s limbs inside the fingers.
- Adjust the width of the fingers to match the width of the limbs.
- Rotate the handle clockwise, applying light pressure to hold the limbs securely in place.
- Rotate the thumbscrews (located behind each finger) until they’re all equally tight against the limbs.
- Press the crossbow by rotating the handle clockwise to apply pressure. To release pressure, rotate the handle counterclockwise.
- To remove the crossbow from the press, make sure all crossbow string and cable ends are in their proper positions, and then rotate the handle to release pressure until the bow can be easily removed.
