What is BCY X made from?
BCY X bow string material is made from 83% SK90 Dyneema and 17% Vectran.
- Dyneema is made from high-modulus polyethylene (HMPE), which is a synthetic fiber that's not prone to stretching and has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
- Vectran is made from liquid-crystal polymer (LCP), which is a high-performance plastic that's extremely reliable and resistant to stretching.
What is the best material for a bow string?
