A GOOD BOW STRING MAKES A GOOD SHOT
While we do offer ready-to-ship strings in addition to our custom bow strings, all of them arrive pre-stretched using several hundred pounds of tension. Our pre-stretch eliminates peep rotation and creep on your strings as you use your bow.
Instead of taking several hundred shots before your string is fully settled, our process allows it to settle in less than 10! With all the stretch eliminated from the strings, you won’t have to keep retiming your bow or making adjustments. “While shooting in local archery tournaments and bow hunting in the mid-1990s, I was frustrated when my fast flight string or cables would stretch and need to be retimed. Since I was already building my own arrows, I started building my own strings with flashy colors. Over the next 10+ years, I continued helping archers as a hobby, while I traveled across the country shooting in tournaments.
Fast forward to 2010, I decided to start building custom strings as a business. Within the first few weeks, I was flooded with orders and my basement was transformed into a shop. Little did I know that this was the birth of 60X Custom Strings.”
